Welcome

The political action and education department brings AHANA issues to the forefront of the Boston College community.  Concerns range from AHANA issues on campus, such as academic programs and university policies, to issues that affect people outside of Boston College. The department actively seeks to work with other groups on campus and the larger Boston community. The department engages in programming on matters such as Hispanic Heritage Month, Christopher Columbus Day, AHANA Awareness Week, Black History Month, Hate Crime Protocol Awareness Week, Asian Pacific Heritage Month, AHANA/GLBTQ history, and the state of affairs on university, local, national, and global politics. This year in particular, the department puts much focus onto the Presidential Election of 2012.
